Yes, We’re Still Here – And Still Creating Beautiful (mainly embossed) Wedding Stationery

Hello again – it’s been a while, hasn’t it?
If you’ve found yourself on this page and are wondering whether White Cottage Weddings is still ticking along, the answer is a definite yes. In fact, we’ve never been busier – just not so much on the blogging front! Oh my goodness, it's been 7 years since we last blogged!
Like many in the wedding industry, the past few years have been a bit of a blur. COVID brought an unexpected pause, followed by an almighty wave of catch-up weddings, new bookings, changed dates, re-changed dates… it was full-on. And while things are yet to settle into a more predictable rhythm thanks to the engagement gap*, we’ve been quietly getting our heads down, working closely with couples all over the world to bring their stationery dreams to life. Nowadays, we specialise in embossed wedding stationery but I never say no to an wonderfully complicated, illustrated pocket invitation with all the bits and bobs!
Behind the scenes, we’ve also had a little restructure. Toby, who many of you will know is my husband, has stepped back from the day-to-day at White Cottage to focus fully on his growing film business, Toby White Film. After filming with another company for years, he's started out on his own and I couldn't be prouder. If you’re looking for a beautifully cinematic wedding video, he’s your man – but here at White Cottage, it’s now just me.
If you’re new around here – welcome! I’m Kelly – designer, detail-obsessive, and your go-to person from the very first email to the final delivery. If you’re one of the lovely couples I’ve already worked with, thank you for choosing White Cottage Weddings to be part of your day. It means the world.
So yes, we’re still here. Still designing, still obsessing over fonts and finishes, still pouring care into every single order. And now that things have settled a little, I’ll do my best to keep this blog updated more often – promise!
Thanks so much for popping by.
With love,
Kelly x
*The Engagement Gap: Less people socialising in 2020/21 meant less future couples meeting, leading to less engagements in 22/23, leading to less weddings in 24/25*
